Thomas Blakemore was established in 1847 in Staffordshire, England.
A foundry manufacturing home decorative accessories in brass –
Candlesticks, candelabra, wall sconces, fireside equipments, bookends,
globes, gentleman’s gifts and library accessories, etc.
The company moved to India in 2004 to manufacture lost wax investment
castings perfect definition bronze castings; produced in the same
method used by the French craftsmen in 1750 to produce French Ormolu
Designs - all individually chased/chiselled, 24 carat gold micron
plating, each casting is hand polished and highlighted so that the
whole product sparkles.
The marble is resourced from the finest caves in the world, each piece
is hand selected by our buyer and then turned by hand and hand polished
and hand fitted to the bronze accoutrements.
All the lampshades are produced in our own factory, hand sewn Indian
wild silks and French and English manufactured trims. The finials
– there is a choice of gold plated bronze, hand polished hand
cut amethyst and gold base and hand cut and hand polished natural
rock crystal finials.
The table lamps are supplied with braided flex and with electrical
parts for Europe, UK, USA and Japan.
Thomas Blakemore also accept custom made (bespoke) commissions for
one of a kind art pieces in bronze, gold, silver, lost wax castings
and malachite, lapis, rock crystal carvings.
